PEX pipes or Crosslinked Polyethylene tubes are a flexible, non-corroding fast to install pipes that are shipped and stored on spools. 

The material is lightweight and flexible which makes it more cost-effective to store and ship. 

When PEX is used for plumbing applications it requires fewer fittings than that of traditional rigid piping i.e. Copper, PVC, Lead.

The pipes can turn to 90 degrees without the use of elbow fittings or tees. The unrolled pipes can be installed in vast lengths without the need of couple fittings. Making the work faster and easier. 

To top it all off, PEX is less expensive than its rigid counterparts making it a viable option for any project of any size.
